Instructions
- 1. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and place torn or cubed French bread in the pan.
- 2. In a large bowl, mix together eggs, eggnog, sugar, vanilla extract, and nutmeg, then pour over the bread and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
- 3. In another bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt, then cut in butter until the mixture resembles sand. Refrigerate the streusel topping.
- 4. Preheat the oven to 350°F, sprinkle the streusel over the French toast, and bake for 45-55 minutes until set and golden brown.
- 5. Serve warm with maple syrup if desired.
