Ingredients

The eggs

  • 6 pieces hard boiled eggs
  • 2 cups water

The marinade

  • 2 tablespoons Japanese soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in hot water for 10 minutes, then crack and peel them.
  2. In a small pot, bring water to a boil and add the soy sauces and sugar. Transfer the eggs into the mixture, turn off the heat, and let them steep for an hour.
