Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and grease a tube pan.
- Cream the butter and sugar on high speed until fluffy and white, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt into the batter, then add milk and vanilla extract, stirring until combined.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and tap to eliminate air bubbles.
- Bake for 60-80 minutes until a tester comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
