- Rinse the basmati rice until the water runs clear, then drain well.
- Add 1½ cups of water to the Instant Pot, then add the rice and mix well.
- Secure the lid on the Instant Pot with the vent in the sealing position.
- Set the Instant Pot to Manual High Pressure for 8 minutes.
- After the cooking time is up, carefully perform a quick release of the pressure and remove the lid.
- Let the rice sit for 2-3 minutes, then fluff it with a fork and serve warm.
