Ingredients

The rice

  • 1 cup dry, uncooked jasmine rice

The liquid

  • 1 ½ cups water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the jasmine rice until the water runs clear and drain well.
  2. Add 1 ½ cups of water to the Instant Pot, then add the drained rice and stir well.
  3. Secure the lid on the Instant Pot with the valve in the sealing position.
  4. Set the Instant Pot to Manual High Pressure for 8 minutes.
  5. When the cook time is up, quick release the pressure and carefully remove the lid.
  6. Let the rice sit uncovered for 2-3 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
  7. Serve immediately or transfer to another container until ready to serve.
