Ingredients

The rice

  • 2 cups jasmine rice

The cooking liquid

  • 2 cups cold water
  • ¼–½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
  2. Add the rinsed rice and cold water to the Instant Pot and secure the lid.
  3. Set the Instant Pot to HIGH pressure and cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Allow for a natural release for 10 minutes, then release any remaining pressure.
  5. Remove the lid, season with salt, and fluff the rice with a fork.
