Ingredients

  • ¾ cup white whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter or nut butter of choice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon molasses (optional)
  • teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cook the flour in the microwave or oven until it reaches at least 160°F.
  2. Let the flour cool to room temperature.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the peanut butter, butter, maple syrup, sugar, vanilla, molasses, and salt until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked flour and mix until combined.
  5. Stir in the almond milk and fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
