Instructions
- Mix the salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, fennel seed, and red pepper flakes to create a seasoning mix.
- Combine the seasoning mix with the ground turkey in a bowl and mix well. Refrigerate for a couple of hours if possible.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil and cooking spray.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add the seasoned turkey, onions, and garlic, cooking until the meat is browned and onions are softened.
- Stir in the cream cheese and parmesan until melted, then add the bread crumbs, basil, and parsley.
- Brush the mushroom caps with melted butter and fill them with the turkey mixture.
- Bake the stuffed mushrooms in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
