Dark Chocolate Maple Macaroons

The chocolate drizzle

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325ºF (165ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix all ingredients except for the chocolate in a medium-sized bowl until well combined.
- Use a medium-sized cookie scoop to scoop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the tops and edges are slightly browned.
- While the cookies are baking, melt the chocolate over low heat using a double boiler.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the pan for 2 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled macaroons and serve.
