Temari Sushi

The sushi rice

uncooked sushi rice

kombu dashi powder or about 2 inch (5 cm) Kombu strip

The toppings

smoked salmon, thinly sliced

egg, fried flat

cucumber, thinly sliced

radish, thinly sliced

Instructions
- Prepare sushi rice according to a specific recipe.
- Slice the cucumber and radish, and fry the egg flat before cutting it into rounds.
- Score the belly side of the prawn to flatten it.
- Place a piece of cling wrap in a small bowl and add your chosen topping at the bottom.
- Add about ¼ cup of sushi rice over the topping.
- Wrap the cling wrap around and shape the mixture into a ball.
- Remove the cling wrap and place the sushi ball on a serving plate.
- Decorate the top of each sushi ball with additional toppings using chopsticks or tweezers.
