Instructions
- Cook the sushi rice according to your rice cooker instructions or in a pot, adding dashi powder or kelp before cooking.
- While the rice cooks, heat rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small pot until the sugar dissolves, then set aside.
- Prepare decorations by cutting nori sheets into shapes for faces.
- Fry the egg flat, cool it, and cut out rounds for decoration.
- Slice the radish and cucumber thinly.
- Once the rice is cooked, mix in the sushi vinegar and let it cool slightly.
- Place your favorite topping in the center of a piece of cling wrap, add a scoop of rice, seal, and shape into a ball.
- Continue making sushi balls with various toppings.
- Remove the cling wrap and place sushi balls on a serving plate.
- Decorate with pre-cut nori using chopsticks or tweezers.
- Serve with soy sauce, mayo, and wasabi if desired.
