Ingredients

The smoothie

  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • cups cherries, pitted
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • ½ cup oats
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

The toppings

  • 1 teaspoon walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon coconut flakes

Instructions

  1. Pour the coconut milk into the blender.
  2. Remove the pits from the cherries and slice the bananas, reserving some for topping.
  3. Add the remaining cherries and banana slices to the blender along with the oats and cocoa powder.
  4. Blend the mixture until smooth, and adjust sweetness with maple syrup if desired.
  5. Divide the smoothie between two bowls.
  6. Top each bowl with the reserved cherries, banana slices, walnuts, and coconut flakes.
