Ingredients

The smoothie base

  • 2 tablespoons almond butter or peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder or cacao powder

Optional toppings

  • to taste various toppings (e.g., shredded coconut, cacao nibs, granola, sliced banana)

Instructions

  1. Combine the plant milk, frozen banana chunks, frozen mango, chia seeds, nut butter, and cocoa powder in a high-speed blender.
  2. Blend on high and use a tamper to push the fruit towards the blade, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Once thick and creamy, divide the mixture into two bowls.
  4. Add any desired toppings and serve immediately.
