The sauce
Instructions
- Rinse the ribs with cold water and dry them with paper towels.
- Mix the spices and brown sugar in a small bowl until well blended.
- Brush the ribs with olive oil and rub the seasoning mixture into the ribs.
- Place the seasoned ribs in a sealed plastic bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 275°F.
- Cover a baking pan with foil and place the ribs in a single layer.
- Cover the ribs with another sheet of foil, ensuring it is tightly sealed.
- Cook the ribs in the oven for 3½ to 4 hours until they reach an internal temperature of 205°F.
- Brush the ribs with barbecue sauce and broil on low for 3-4 minutes until bubbly.
