The garlic
Instructions
- Combine the dry spices in a small bowl.
- Peel the garlic cloves.
- Cut the beef roast into large chunks.
- Place the beef and spice mix in a zip-top bag and shake to coat.
- Optionally, refrigerate the bag of seasoned meat until ready to cook.
- Place the seasoned meat in the slow cooker in a single layer.
- Add enough water to cover the meat (about 1.5-2 cups).
- Secure the lid and cook on low for 8 hours.
- After cooking, shred the meat using two forks and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve the shredded beef immediately.
