Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ – ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ¼ cups fresh raspberries
  • cup white chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and orange zest.
  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture is crumbly with some larger chunks.
  4. Whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  5. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until moistened, then add raspberries and white chocolate.
  6. On a floured surface, pat the dough to about ½ inch thick and fold it over itself five times.
  7. Cut the dough into 8 triangular slices and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops with cream.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned and serve warm.
