Fresh Strawberry Margarita

freshly-squeezed lime juice

honey or agave

Cointreau or Triple Sec (or any orange liqueur)
For serving

salt to rim the glasses

extra fresh strawberries and/or lime slices for garnish
Instructions
- Blend strawberries, tequila, lime juice, honey, and orange liqueur until smooth.
- Let the mixture rest for about 3 minutes and skim off any foam if desired.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or add more tequila if needed.
- For salt-rimmed glasses, run a lime wedge around the rim and dip in coarse salt.
- To serve on the rocks, fill glasses with ice and pour the margarita over.
- To serve frozen, add ice to the blender with the mixture and blend until smooth.
