Ingredients

  • pounds Beef Stew Meat
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 large Onion, Chopped
  • 1 16 ounce bag Baby Carrots, Cut Into Slices
  • 1 pound Potatoes, Cubed
  • cups Beef Broth
  • 1 10 ounce can Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Water

Instructions

  1. 1. Sauté olive oil in the Instant Pot and add the beef, seasoning it with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until browned.
  2. 2. Add beef broth and scrape the bottom of the pot to deglaze.
  3. 3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion, carrots, potatoes, and tomato sauce.
  4. 4. Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 35 minutes.
  5. 5. Allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes, then perform a quick release.
  6. 6. Mix cornstarch and cold water, then stir into the stew until thickened.
