The Sauce

fresh ginger, grated

tamari or coconut aminos

unseasoned rice vinegar

unpasteurized honey

toasted sesame oil

Optional Garnish

Instructions
- 1. Combine corn starch, salt, and pepper in a bowl; toss chicken pieces to coat evenly.
- 2. Heat cooking fat in a large wok or skillet over high heat; add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- 3. Meanwhile, whisk together all sauce ingredients in a measuring cup until well combined.
- 4. Once chicken is cooked, add onions and bell peppers; stir and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until slightly softened.
- 5. Add pineapple and pour in the sauce; stir well and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes until sauce thickens and pineapple is warmed through.
- 6. Garnish with green onions and black sesame seeds; serve immediately.
