  3. Add lemon quarters and black pepper to the broth.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  5. Once boiling, add the chicken breasts in a single layer without stacking them.
  6. Cover the pan and remove it from heat once the broth returns to a boil.
  7. Let the chicken breasts sit in the covered saucepan for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the chicken from the broth and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
