Mimosa Sangria

Ingredients

The drink mixture

  • 3 cups not-from-concentrate Florida’s Natural® Orange Juice
  • ½ cup Cointreau or Grand Marnier, or any orange liqueur
  • 1 unit naval orange, quartered and thinly-sliced
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and thinly-sliced
  • 1 cup diced fresh pineapple
  • 1 (750 ml) chilled bottle champagne or any dry sparkling wine

Optional garnishes

  • to taste unit ice
  • to taste unit extra strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the orange juice, Cointreau, orange, strawberries, and pineapple in a large pitcher.
  2. Use a large wooden spoon to stir and muddle the fruit slightly.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 10 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  4. When ready to serve, fill serving glasses 1/3 full with the orange juice and fruit mixture.
  5. Top each glass slowly with champagne, adding ice if needed and garnishing with a strawberry if desired.
  6. Serve immediately.
