Slow Cooker Jerk Chicken

The seasoning mix

Instructions
- Mix all seasoning ingredients in a small bowl or jar.
- Rub the seasoning mix on both sides of the chicken thighs.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add ghee.
- Sear the chicken thighs skin side down for 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer the chicken to the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, chicken broth, lime juice, and molasses.
- Pour the broth mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
- Carefully remove the chicken and serve, optionally drizzling some juices over it.
