Instructions
- Blend the marinade ingredients until smooth.
- Arrange chicken pieces in the slow cooker and spread ⅔ of the spice rub over them.
- Add onion, orange, and serrano pepper to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Remove chicken and place on a broiler pan, spreading the remaining spice rub on top.
- Broil in the oven for about 5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
