Ingredients

The filling

  • 5 cups fresh strawberries, stemmed and quartered
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • cooking spray for greasing ramekins

The nut topping

  • ½ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease eight 4-inch ramekins with cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine strawberries, honey, and orange juice, then sprinkle with cornstarch and toss to coat the fruit.
  4. Transfer the strawberry mixture to the prepared ramekins.
  5. In a medium bowl, mix the nut topping ingredients with a fork and sprinkle over the fruit.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes until the topping is golden and the berries are soft and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with a tablespoon of ice cream or whipped cream.
