Ingredients

The salad

  • 2 ½ cups Broccoli (cut into small florets)
  • 2 ½ cups Cauliflower (cut into small florets)
  • 1 cup Red bell pepper (cut into coarse pieces)
  • cup Bacon bits (cooked)

The dressing

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Fresh thyme
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, cauliflower, red bell pepper, and bacon bits.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat the vegetables.
  4. You can serve immediately, but for better flavor, chill for a few hours before serving.
