Ingredients

The salad

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup halved grapes
  • cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 2 each green onions
  • 3 tablespoons dry roasted sunflower seeds
  • 3-4 strips bacon

The dressing

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ each lemon (juice)
  • 2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until very crisp, then drain on paper towels and chop into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, vinegar, and black pepper to make the dressing.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, cauliflower, grapes, red onion, green onions, sunflower seeds, and bacon.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to coat. For best flavor, chill in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours before serving.
