Ingredients

The broth

  • 4 tsp bouillon
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp sriracha (optional)

The vegetables

  • 1 large carrot, shredded
  • 4 medium mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 medium green onions, sliced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach

The noodles

  • 2 3oz. blocks instant ramen

Instructions

  1. Add broth ingredients to each jar: 1 tsp bouillon, ½ tsp soy sauce, ¼ tsp sesame oil, ⅛ tsp garlic powder, ⅛ tsp ginger powder, ½ tsp sesame seeds, and ½ tsp sriracha.
  2. Shred the carrot and divide it between the jars.
  3. Slice the mushrooms and green onions, then divide them between the jars.
  4. Boil water and add the instant ramen, cooking for about 2 minutes until tender but firm.
  5. Drain and rinse the noodles with cold water, then divide them into the jars.
  6. Top each jar with a handful of fresh spinach.
  7. Seal the jars and refrigerate until ready to eat (up to five days).
  8. When ready to eat, warm the jars slightly, then add 1 to 1.5 cups boiling water, seal, and shake to mix.
  9. Let sit for a few minutes, stir, and enjoy directly from the jar or in a bowl.
