Instructions
- Prepare the pineapple by cutting off the stalk and skin, then blend the flesh into a puree.
- Cook the pineapple puree with cloves in a pot, stirring constantly until it thickens, then add sugar and lemon juice, and simmer until golden and sticky.
- Cream butter and condensed milk until fluffy, then add egg yolks and mix well. Gradually add flour to form a dough.
- Mix the ingredients for the egg wash in a small bowl.
- Divide the dough and filling into portions, rolling them into balls.
- Flatten the dough, place a pineapple ball in the center, and wrap it up.
- Roll the wrapped cookie into a ball and place on a baking sheet.
- Cut a criss-cross pattern on top and brush with egg wash.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 330°F (165°C) for 20-22 minutes until golden brown, then cool before storing.
