Instructions
- Blend the pineapple until smooth and transfer to a non-stick pot.
- Add sugar, cloves, and cinnamon to the pot and cook until a golden jam forms.
- Let the jam cool, preferably overnight in the fridge.
- Sift together flour, sugar, milk powder, and cornstarch.
- Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, then add egg yolks one at a time.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until combined.
- Roll out 50g of dough at a time, pipe jam on top, and roll to encase it.
- Cut the rolls into 4 cm pieces and arrange on a baking sheet.
- Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F) and prepare the egg wash.
- Brush the rolls with egg wash and bake until golden, about 15-20 minutes.
