Ingredients

The batter

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 6 ounces soft goat cheese
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ cup shredded raw goat cheddar
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 3 Tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 Tablespoon minced onion

For topping and greasing

  • to taste sea salt
  • as needed butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9" x 13" baking dish with butter.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix all the ingredients until a uniform batter forms.
  3. Transfer the batter to the greased baking dish and spread it evenly to the edges.
  4. Sprinkle with sea salt and any additional herbs if desired.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool, then cut into squares or bread sticks.
