Instructions
- Combine warm water, yeast, and agave syrup in a bowl and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Add plant-based milk, whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, flax seeds, and salt, and mix until the dough pulls away from the bowl.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about one minute until soft and moist.
- Grease a bowl with olive oil, place the dough inside, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into six equal pieces, shaping them into disks on oiled baking sheets.
- Cover and let rise for another 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Dimple the surface of each disk, drizzle with olive oil, and add desired toppings.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned and tender.
- Serve immediately, or refrigerate leftovers.
