Salted Butter Caramels

Instructions
- 1. Combine sugar and corn syrup in a saucepan over medium heat.
- 2. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to boil.
- 3. Allow the mixture to boil without stirring until it reaches a deep amber color.
- 4. Carefully add the heavy cream and butter, stirring until smooth.
- 5. Remove from heat and stir in the sea salt.
- 6. Pour the caramel into a lined baking dish and let it cool completely.
- 7. Once cooled, cut into squares and wrap in parchment paper.
