Instructions
- Prepare simple syrup if not using pre-made by mixing equal parts water and sugar until dissolved.
- Add bourbon, simple syrup, and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake for 30 seconds until frothy.
- Pour the cocktail into a glass filled with ice.
- Slowly pour the red wine over the back of a spoon to create a float on top of the cocktail.
- Serve immediately.
