Instructions
- Dissolve turbinado sugar in water to make simple syrup.
- Add crushed ice to a cocktail shaker.
- Pour bourbon, maple syrup, simple syrup, and lemon juice into the shaker and shake for 30 seconds.
- Strain into a rocks glass with a large ice cube.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick and maraschino cherries if desired.
