Ingredients

The marinade

  • ¼ cup coconut aminos
  • tsp coconut sugar
  • tsp fish sauce
  • tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 medium pear
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger

The beef and toppings

  • lbs flank steak
  • 1 medium shallot
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 stalks green onions

Instructions

  1. Blend all marinade ingredients until smooth.
  2. Cut flank steak into strips and marinate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a skillet and sauté shallot for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add marinated beef and any remaining marinade to the skillet.
  5. Cook until the sauce thickens and coats the beef, about 10-15 minutes.
  6. Serve topped with green onions and sesame seeds.
