The steak

boneless strip steaks (1 inch thick, about ¾ - 1 pound each)

Instructions
- Blend rosemary, thyme, garlic, paprika, cayenne, soy sauce, and oil in a food processor or using a mortar and pestle.
- Marinate the steak with the herb mixture for at least 30 minutes, refrigerating until ready to cook.
- Let the marinated steak rest for 20 minutes before cooking.
- Remove excess marinade from the steak.
- Heat a cast iron or grill pan until hot.
- Cook the steak, flipping once, until browned and cooked to your desired doneness, approximately 7-10 minutes on each side for medium.
- Let the cooked steaks rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
