Basil and Garlic Steak Marinade

Ingredients

Steaks

  • 4 pieces your favorite grilling steaks

Marinade

  • cup soy sauce
  • cup fresh lemon juice
  • cup Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons dried basil
  • 3 large cloves garlic, minced or pressed
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients in a liquid measuring cup and pour into a large plastic bag.
  2. Add the steaks to the marinade and shake to coat.
  3. Marinate the steaks for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, flipping once halfway through.
  4. Cook the marinated steaks on a grill or griddle to your preferred level of doneness.
  5. Allow the steaks to rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.
