Tomato Bisque

Instructions
- Heat the butter in a large soup pot over medium-high heat.
- Add the diced onion and cook until soft.
- Add the bacon and garlic, stirring until the meat is crisp.
- Stir in the flour and cook for a few minutes.
- Pour in the broth and tomatoes, bringing to a boil while whisking.
- Add the herbs and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
- Remove the herbs and puree the soup until smooth.
- Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve warm.
