Crockpot Stuffing

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 large onion
  • 4 ribs celery
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon fresh sage
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon fresh marjoram
  • 1 loaf French bread

Instructions

  1. Coat the slow cooker with butter or nonstick spray.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat, then sauté onion and celery until translucent.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and stir in the broth, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add parsley, sage, thyme, and marjoram to the skillet and cook until fragrant.
  5. Transfer the herb mixture to the bowl with the egg mixture and mix well.
  6. Add the dried bread cubes and toss to combine.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.
  8. Cover and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes, then reduce to LOW and cook for 4 to 5 hours.
