Easy Slow Cooker Stuffing

Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients.
- Melt the butter in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Sauté the onion and celery until softened.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, sage, and poultry seasoning, and stir.
- Add the broth and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms soften.
- Spray the slow cooker with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine stuffing cubes, parsley, and apple.
- Pour the vegetable-broth mixture into the bowl and mix well.
- Push stuffing to the side, add the egg, whisk it, and mix into the stuffing.
- Transfer the stuffing to the slow cooker and smooth the top without packing it down.
- Cover and cook on Low for 3-4 hours, stirring once halfway through.
- Serve hot.
