Nashville Hot Chicken Bites

raw boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into small bite-sized pieces
The spice mix

The cooking oil
Instructions
- Mix the cayenne pepper, brown sugar, flour, paprika, chili powder, salt, and garlic powder in a small dish.
- Place the chicken pieces in a zip-seal bag and add the spice mix. Seal and shake to coat the chicken.
- Heat the canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken to the skillet, cooking in batches if necessary, and stir to coat in oil.
- Cook for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally to allow the chicken to brown and develop a crust.
- Once cooked through and browned, remove from heat and serve.
