Jelly Thumbprint Cookies

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour and salt, then set aside.
- In a large bowl, blend together butter, both sugars, egg, vanilla, and almond extract until creamy using a hand mixer.
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet mixture until fully combined, then let the dough chill for 1 hour.
- Roll about 2 tablespoons of dough into balls, roll in sugar, and place on the baking sheet, pressing down with your thumb to create a dent.
- Add ½ teaspoon of jelly to each thumbprint center.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes, then let cool for 30 minutes before glazing.
- Make the glaze by mixing together all glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled cookies.
