Ingredients

The dough

  • 2 ¼ cups fine blanched almond flour
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon fine salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

The filling

  • 6 tablespoons jam or preserves of choice

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a bowl, combine almond flour, melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  3. 3. Roll the dough into balls, coat them in sugar, and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. 4. Make indentations in each ball using a teaspoon or thumb, and fill with jam.
  5. 5. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. 6. Let the cookies cool for 10 minutes on the pan before transferring to a rack.
