Ingredients

The sushi base

  • 2 cups Sushi rice
  • 1 baby Cucumber
  • 2 sheets Nori seaweed sheets

The toppings

  • 1 pack Natto
  • ½ cup Corn kernels

Condiments

  • to taste Soy sauce
  • to taste Wasabi
  • to taste Gari (pickled ginger)
  • to taste Japanese mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Cook the sushi rice according to instructions and form 12 small rice balls, each about 0.7 oz (20g).
  2. Prepare toppings: slice the cucumber, mix natto with its sauce and mustard, and mix corn with Japanese mayonnaise.
  3. Cut nori sheets into 6 strips along the lines.
  4. Wrap nori around the rice balls, sealing the ends with water or a grain of rice.
  5. Press down the center of the rice to create a well and fill it with toppings.
  6. Repeat the wrapping and filling process with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
