Instructions
- Prepare the sushi rice and cut the cucumber into sticks.
- Lay down a half sheet of nori on the bamboo mat with the shiny side facing down.
- Spread approximately ½ cup of sushi rice evenly over two-thirds of the nori sheet, leaving an inch uncovered at one end.
- Layer cucumber strips across the middle section of the rice.
- Wet the far edge of the nori with vinegar or water.
- Begin rolling tightly from the edge closest to you, applying gentle pressure.
- Moisten the last inch of nori to seal the roll.
- Repeat the process for additional rolls.
- Slice each roll into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife.
- Serve with condiments like wasabi, soy sauce, and sushi ginger.
