Semi-Homemade Paleo Spaghetti and Meatballs

Ingredients

The meatballs

  • 1 pound uncooked Italian sausage
  • 1-2 tablespoons ghee

The noodles and sauce

  • 1 package kelp noodles or zucchini noodles
  • ½ jar (12 oz) spaghetti sauce

Instructions

  1. Remove the sausage from its casing and roll it into small meatballs.
  2. Melt ghee in a large skillet over medium heat and fry the meatballs until browned on all sides.
  3. Add the spaghetti sauce and bring it to a boil, then cover and simmer on low for about 5 minutes.
  4. Rinse the kelp noodles and add them to the skillet with the meatballs and sauce.
  5. Cover and simmer until the noodles are tender.
