Blueberry-Cream Cheese Pull-Apart Bread

The filling

Instructions
- Roll and stretch the dough into a 12-inch square on a floured surface.
- Combine cream cheese, lemon zest, and nutmeg in a bowl and spread over the dough.
- Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar and sliced almonds, then add the blueberries and press lightly.
- Cut the dough into 16 squares and stack them into 4 stacks of 4 squares each.
- Place the stacks on their sides in a buttered loaf pan and separate the layers.
- Sprinkle with the remaining sugar and almonds, cover loosely, and let rise for 1 to 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 40 to 45 minutes until browned.
- Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a plate and cool for another 30 minutes.
- Dust with confectioners' sugar before serving.
