Ingredients

The main ingredients

  • ½ lb Ground Beef, lean (or lean ground turkey)
  • ½ small Onion, diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, pressed or finely minced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 oz Spaghetti Noodles, broken in thirds
  • 1 ½ cups Spaghetti Sauce (jarred, or homemade)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated

Optional ingredients

  • ½ cup Mushrooms, sliced
  • ½ cup Bell Pepper, chopped
  • 5 leaves Fresh Basil, chopped

Seasoning

  • to taste Salt & Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Turn on the Sauté function and cook the meat until almost done.
  2. 2. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the garlic and cancel the Sauté setting.
  4. 4. Add water to the pot.
  5. 5. Sprinkle the broken noodles in a crisscross pattern over the water.
  6. 6. Pour the spaghetti sauce over the noodles without stirring.
  7. 7. Lock the lid and set the steam release knob to Sealing.
  8. 8. Set to Pressure Cook for 9 minutes (or 7 for firmer noodles).
  9. 9. After cooking, let the pot naturally release pressure for 2 minutes, then manually release the remaining pressure.
  10. 10. Open the lid, stir the spaghetti, and separate any stuck noodles.
  11. 11. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and serve.
