Ingredients

The pasta

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup fresh basil
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 boxes pasta
  • 4 cups spinach

The breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup walnuts
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp rosemary

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a food processor, blend all breadcrumb ingredients until fine crumbs.
  3. 3. Spread the crumbs on the baking sheet and bake for about 8 minutes until slightly golden.
  4. 4. For the sauce, blend walnuts, garlic, basil, and tomato sauce in the food processor until smooth.
  5. 5. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions and drain it.
  6. 6. Return the hot pasta to the pot, add spinach, and pour the sauce on top.
  7. 7. Stir and heat on low for 5 minutes.
  8. 8. Serve immediately, topping with breadcrumbs.
