Ingredients

The chicken

  • 4 8-oz Boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tsp Sea salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

The filling

  • 1 cup Broccoli florets (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • ¼ tsp Garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Sea salt (to taste)
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (191°C).
  2. Cut a pocket in each chicken breast lengthwise, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika.
  4. In a bowl, mix the filling ingredients: chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff the filling into the chicken breasts and secure them closed with toothpicks.
  6. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken on both sides until browned.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
